There is so many new things going on at the church.  If you would like to get up to the minute information on the activities of the church, we are now on Facebook.

The church family is very excited to welcome Jeremy Alger the newest member of our ministry team.  Jeremy will be our new Music Minister/Youth Pastor.

"God has given me gifts and passions that lead me to the church and then back out to change the world. I am excited by what God is doing in, through, and around me. I love the results of using His gifts for planning song services, communicating with teens in unconventional ways, and writing songs and sermons."

Jeremy was born and raised in Flint, Mi. His parents and much of his extended family still live in that area. Jeremy has a younger brother Justin, he and his wife Abby live in Bradley, Ill.

Jeremy received a call to a life of full-time ministry on April 6th 2001. Since then he has graduated from Olivet Nazarene University with a degree in Religion and has worked in ministerial capacities in Michigan, Illinois, Colorado, Alabama, and now Maryland.

God healed Jeremy from cancer in 2005. "My life will be lived in a way that says, 'thank you' to God by serving His people."

Worship

Our Sunday morning service is informal in some ways but a sacred time.  We sing both traditional hymns and contemporary songs of praise.  Our services include organ, piano, guitar, synthesizer, drums and wind instruments.  In each service, you will hear Biblical Messages that focus on GOds word and how to apply it to our lives.

Praying, singing and worshiping together, we endeavor to lift up the great name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Verse of the Day

We Believe:

  • In one God, the Creator of all things, who reveals himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

  • In Jesus Christ, who is fully God and fully man at the same time, who became like us to bring about our salvation.

  • In the Holy Spirit, who is active in the world, bringing us to salvation.

  • That the Bible is the Word of God giving us all we need to know about how to be saved.

  • That we are all sinners by both nature and act and need God's forgiveness and cleansing.

  • That Jesus Christ died on the cross and that, by trusting in His death, we can be restored to a right relationship with God.

  • That when we turn from sin and trust in Christ, the old record of sin is wiped clean, and we are born anew, thus becoming a part of the family of God.

  • That after being born anew, we need the fullness of God's Spirit in our hearts. When we make a complete commitment to Him, He cleanses our spirit, fills us with His perfect love, and gives us the power to live our lives victoriously.

  • That Jesus Christ is coming again.
